Rimpau - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
Half of the band is from Los Angeles, and the other members hail from Wisconsin and Santa Barbara. They are a a four part band that plays lively "rock" music: members also play in other Los Angeles bands Papa, Maxim Ludwig, and Haim.
The Brixtones - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
The Brixtones
It wasn't so long ago that these two lads met in high school and quickly found they shared an understanding about what music should be. Life however, was to lead them in different directions with Eli going off to art school, then playing around the U.S. as a steel guitarist with artists such as The Driftwood Singers and Maxim Ludwig while Harley went back to London to join the Moon Music Orchestra; a drug fueled hippie commune. Dues had to be paid... of course, but when the weight of the world became too great they found themselves back in Los Angeles, in a closet, armed with a tape recorder and four years worth of songs. These two Muswell Hillbillies were destined to do something, perhaps reinvigorate this cultural wasteland.
Badwater - (Set time: 11:30 PM)
Badwater's boundless creative spirit dips into rock, progressive, alternative, psychedelica, and blues, while assimilating each strand into a cohesive vision that's fully realized on their latest album, Drown Me Out. Grooves shake and tumble with effusive bravado, while riffs resound with prowess and power. Badwater also infuses a cinematic sensibility into the lyrics and songwriting. It's a delicate balance between vibrant and vulnerable, and it's utterly undeniable.
